Connect your QuickBooks Online company

This page is for current Clear View Finances clients. Connecting lets us look at your QuickBooks Online records so we can prepare a catch-up or cleanup assessment for you.

What connecting does

• Read-only. We can view your QuickBooks Online data (for example, accounts, transactions, customers, vendors, and reports). We do not create, edit, or delete anything in your QuickBooks.
• Only for your engagement. We use your data only to do the bookkeeping work you hired us for.
• Never sold. Your data is not sold or rented. We use an AI assistant to help review it; see our Privacy Policy.
• You stay in control. You can disconnect at any time.

How to connect

1. Clear View Finances will email you a connection link. Please only use a link that comes directly from us.
2. Open the link. You will be taken to Intuit’s own QuickBooks sign-in page. We never see or ask for your QuickBooks password.
3. Sign in, choose the company you want us to review, and review the permissions Intuit shows you.
4. Click to approve (for example, “Connect”). That’s it; we’ll let you know once we have what we need.

Reconnecting

If a connection expires or you disconnected and want to reconnect, email us and we will send you a new link.
